Huaxi district ranks 1st in Guiyang in May for air quality

Guiyang's air quality assessment results in May were released on June 16, and Huaxi district emerged as the top performer.

The rankings of ambient air quality in each district and county are as follows, in the order of best to worst: Huaxi district, Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Baiyun district, Guiyang Free Trade Zone, Wudang district, Qingzhen city, Kaiyang county, Yunyan district, Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Nanming district, Guanshanhu district, Xifeng county, and Xiuwen county.

According to the evaluation results and the national standards for ambient air quality, all districts and zones in Guiyang enjoyed good air quality every day in May, with the exception of Xifeng county, which did so for 96.8 percent of the month.
