Guizhou University Animal Hospital was unveiled in Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on May 31.
The hospital, a collaborative effort between the government of Huaxi district and Guizhou University, is a large-scale comprehensive facility covering over 3,000 square meters. Equipped with advanced equipment, it offers animal disease diagnosis and treatment, teaching, scientific research, epidemic prevention, and animal first aid services. The hospital aims to provide high-quality healthcare for animals and contribute to veterinary advancements in the district.
It also has the most comprehensive departments in the province, including oncology, imaging, and microsurgery.
Regarding technologies, a team of experts from the College of Animal Sciences of Guizhou University will lead the hospital's diagnosis and treatment services and animal disease and wildlife disease prevention and control technical services.
Moreover, the hospital boasts a highly skilled and high-quality animal medical service team comprising more than 10 young Doctors, eight doctors, and over 20 medical assistants.
Looking ahead, the hospital will be committed to providing high-quality medical services for the breeding industry and pet-keeping people and actively promoting the development of the animal medicine industry.
Also, serving as a training base for the College of Animal Science of Guizhou University, the hospital is set to cultivate outstanding talents in the animal medicine industry.
