On May 27, the governments of Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) and Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, formed a delegation led by Xu Junsong, secretary of the Party Work Committee of GETDZ and Huaxi district, visited the Big Data Expo, which was held on May 26-28 in Guiyang.

Eleven enterprises from GETDZ and Huaxi district participated in the expo to showcase the integrated application of big data technology in fields including industry, agriculture, and service.
The delegation visited booths including Huawei, Baidu, Aerospace Science and Industry, Guiyang Big Data Exchange, Guizhou Wujiang River Laboratory, and Digital Economy Development Innovation Zone to learn about the application practices related to the public computing power infrastructure, intelligent transportation, and digital governance.
They also exchanged with the enterprises for their further cooperation focusing on the enterprises' information involved in their product development, scenario application, and production efficiency.
During the visit, Xu expressed their aspirations to leverage the vast and proficient platform of the Big Data Expo to stimulate local businesses to expand their big data application spectrum. This approach will facilitate mutual benefits and achieve satisfactory outcomes for both GETDZ and Huaxi by delivering superior products and services.
He stressed that GETDZ and Huaxi should speed up constructing the digital economy industrial system and promote the deep integration of big data and all industries with richer application scenarios.
To promote the high-quality economic and social development of the zone and the district, efforts should be made to boost investment promotion, continuously promote the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy and accelerate the industrial transformation and upgrading.
