Guizhou introduces culture, tourism projects worth 8.74b yuan

The Guizhou Culture and Tourism Industry Investment Conference was held in Qingyan Ancient Town, Huaxi district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on April 7.

Five strategic cooperation agreements and 15 industrial investment project contracts, with a total contract amount of 8.74 billion yuan ($1.27 billion), were inked at the meeting.

At the signing ceremony, the People's Government of Guizhou Province signed strategic cooperation agreements with Trip.com Group and more than 20 other enterprises. 

Guizhou has unique advantages in ecology, climate, resources, transportation and policies. To date, the province has introduced 168 new culture and tourism projects, with a contract investment of 20.19 billion yuan.
