Huaxi, Guizhou Normal University establish strategic partnership

The government of Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Guizhou Normal University on March 30. 

According to the agreement, the two sides will give full play to their respective advantages in an effort to comprehensively promote the modernization of Huaxi district and the development of Guizhou Normal University. 

Xiao Yuanping, Party Secretary of Guizhou Normal University, said that the university is rich in educational and teaching resources, disciplines, talent and culture, making it ideal for the district's strategy of innovation-oriented development and creating strong prospects for cooperation between the two sides. 

He said he hoped that Huaxi will deepen cooperation in basic education, transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and talent training. 

Yu Yang, head of the district's government, said he hoped that the university will give full play to its advantages in talent training, intellectual resources, and scientific and technological innovation, as well as strengthen in-depth cooperation on economic development policy research, commercialization of rural vitalization scientific research achievements, cultural tourism achievement research, teacher training, education and teaching internship research base construction, and basic education research. 

Huaxi will provide strong policy and service guarantees to promote the implementation and effectiveness of the new partnership.
