Huaxi launches its cross-country driving tour event

The launch ceremony for a cross-country driving tour was held in Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on March 14. 

Five well-known off-road driving clubs in Guizhou organized about 60 off-road vehicles for this event. They followed the route map, which is divided into five sections, to experience rural folk customs, as well as enjoy the natural mountain and forest scenery. 

The event was sponsored by the government of Huaxi district and the Management Committee of the Huaxi Culture and Tourism Innovation Zone. It focused on promoting mountain tourism in the Qiantao, Gaopo and Mengguan townships, along with Qingyan town. 

Future goals for this event include developing road trip products with local features and famous activity brands. With this event, Huaxi hopes to comprehensively enhance the popularity and reputation of its sports-themed tourism industry.
