The Huaxi District Digital Agriculture Industrial Park was recently put into operation in Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The 11.33-hectare industrial park, south of Longyan Road in Longjing village, includes facilities such as edible mushroom cultivation rooms, management rooms, warehouses, and cold storage rooms.
The park mainly plants and produces edible mushrooms. Once running at full capacity, the industrial park will be capable of producing 15,000 metric tons of edible mushrooms and processing over 22 million sticks of mushrooms every year. This will generate 200 million yuan ($28.91 million) in annual output value, and create jobs for more than 300 people.
As one of Guizhou's key investment projects, the industrial park adopted eco-friendly prefabricated construction methods. It will later develop into a green and intelligently constructed demonstration park for digital agriculture in Southwest China.
