The 11th Huaxi District Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) – the top political advisory body in Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – started its second session on Feb 14.
The opening conference was attended by 212 political advisers, including Lu Zhu, chairwoman of the CPPCC Huaxi Committee.
Lu delivered the 11th CPPCC Huaxi Committee's work report at the session, reviewing the district's efforts and achievements over the past year, and then setting out the work plan for the future.
Peng Zhiwei, vice-chairman of the CPPCC Huaxi Committee, reported on the handling of proposals from members of the 11th CPPCC Huaxi Committee at the conference.
A total of 134 filed proposals from individuals, political parties and various organizations have been reviewed since the first session of the 11th CPPCC Huaxi Committee in January 2022, said Peng.
The session will end on Feb 16.
