Political advisers to attend annual district session in Huaxi

Members of the 11th Huaxi District Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) gathered in Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Feb 13 to attend the 2nd session of the 11th CPPCC Huaxi Committee from Feb 14 to 16.

In the next few days, the political advisers will closely focus on the economic and social development of the district and the issues of concern to the people, and make suggestions for local development.

Huo Yunlong, one of the political advisers, said that his proposal focuses on the establishment of an industrial system featuring low consumption, low emissions, high efficiency and recycling in Yanlou Industrial Park, aims to improve the utilization rate of regional resources, and analyzes how to use industrial waste in the park. 

Over the past year, the CPPCC Huaxi Committee examined and filed 134 proposals, handed over 134 proposals, and focused on supervising and handling 18 proposals, discussing 38 major issues concerning local economic and social development and 10 deeds to improve local people's living standards.
