Holiday tourism market in Huaxi booms

Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, launched a series of festive activities and improved tourist services during the 2023 Spring Festival holiday from Jan 21 to 27, ensuring that the local cultural tourism market operated in an efficient and orderly manner.

Qingyan Ancient Town, Tianhetan scenic area and various wetland parks set up service sites to provide consultation services for tourists. Employees in the tourism, catering, retail and accommodation sectors also underwent further training to provide high-quality services for tourists.

During the holiday, many scenic spots in Huaxi ushered in the tourism season. Among them, Qingyan Ancient Town received 265,000 visits, ranking first among tourist attractions in the province.
