Construction on surface treatment industrial park nears completion

The first phase of Huaxi Surface Treatment Industrial Park, the first of its kind in Southwest China's Guizhou province, is near completion. 

Located in Yanlou Industrial Park in Guiyang's Huaxi district, the surface treatment industrial park focuses on serving the electronic information manufacturing industry. It also takes into account the functional needs of the existing aerospace, auto parts, and equipment manufacturing industries in Guiyang. 

The industrial park is divided into five areas: office and living areas, production plants, sewage treatment plants, a storage area, and a supporting equipment area. 

"Adhering to the concept of green, intelligent, efficient and safe, the industrial park adopts the industry-leading sewage treatment model and will implement an integrated intelligent management system," said Wang Yu, chairman of Guiyang Huaxi South Surface Treatment Investment Co. 

Through the centralized construction of main buildings and basic supporting facilities such as power, water and gas supply, the industrial park will integrate resource and systems sharing. This will lead to the uniform detection, treatment and discharge of waste products. 

The first phase of the industrial park includes six factories. So far, 13 enterprises have signed intention letters to settle in the park once it is completed.

Once the whole park operates in full production capacity, its annual output value is expected to reach 5 billion yuan ($717.54 million).
