Guizhou Medical University in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was recently approved to start construction on a Guizhou provincial big data talent training base.
The university will rely on its medical big data resources and focus on the talent demands of companies to better serve the innovative development of Guizhou's medical big data industry.
The Big Data Development Administration of Guizhou Province will support the university in carrying out student training by providing funds and talent project applications.
The training base will rely on the university's medicine and industry majors, resources of its affiliated hospitals, and a medical big data research platform to carry out medical and health big data training, alleviate the talent shortage, and improve the ability of talent.
The university will seek to encourage China's leading health and big data companies to construct the talent training base, explore a training model integrating companies, university and research institutions, and train interdisciplinary talent.
