At the 5th Yangtze River Delta International Cultural Industries Expo (YRDICIE) and 2024 China International Travel Mart (CITM) held in Shanghai from Nov 22 to 25, over 100 "Guiyang Gifts" products were showcased, drawing significant attention from global exhibitors and visitors alike.
For this event, Guiyang Tourism Development Group Co brought a selection of over 100 "Guiyang Gifts" products organized into three themes: Guiyang Stories, Guiyang Flavors, and Guiyang Crafts. The "Guiyang Gifts" booth saw impressive sales during both the YRDICIE and CITM, with on-site sales exceeding 130,000 yuan and more than 40 varieties of products selling out.
"Guiyang Gifts" also drew exhibitors from regions such as Anhui, Shanghai, Yunnan and Sichuan, with many engaging in discussions and negotiations. The company secured cooperation agreements with 34 enterprises in areas such as product procurement, consignment sales, design and operations, paving the way for broader market expansion for Guiyang's cultural industry.
Zhao Juanjuan, general manager of Guiyang Tourism Development Group Co, noted that the success of "Guiyang Gifts" at the YRDICIE and CITM highlighted the strength and appeal of Guiyang's tourism products while garnering growing interest and partnerships from both upstream and downstream businesses within the industry.
Looking ahead, "Guiyang Gifts" aims to continue giving full play of its brand strength and market potential. By collaborating with more businesses along the industrial chain, the brand seeks to foster the growth of Guiyang's tourism product sector while further enhancing the "Cool Guiyang" city brand, expanding its reach both in China and around the world.
Launched in 2024, "Guiyang Gifts" is the exclusive official souvenir brand of Guiyang. It has already brought together over 100 premium enterprises and more than 10,000 distinctive varieties of products.
