Guiyang and Gui'an enterprises showcase innovations at 2024 World Internet Conference

The 2024 World Internet Conference & Light of Internet Expo opened in Wuzhen town, East China's Zhejiang province, on Nov 19, attracting 665 enterprises and organizations from 53 countries and regions.

As the core area of China's first national big data pilot zone and national digital economy development innovation zone, Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province are leading the way in digital economy and serving as models for high-quality digital economic development.

Six enterprises from Guiyang and Gui'an participated in the expo, bringing their core technologies and products to unveil achievements and innovation in industrial digitalization, digital industrialization, digital governance, and data valuation.

Guizhou E-commerce Cloud Operation Co presented its "platform + service + data" integrated service system, fostering the deep integration of the digital and real economies. As a national demonstration company for e-commerce, it showcased its advantages in the cultivation of new digital economy business formats and models through its in-depth efforts in digital government affairs, digital commerce, smart tourism, and smart logistics.

Guizhou Baishan Cloud Technology Co, the second largest independent edge cloud service provider in China, has more than 1,700 edge nodes in over 300 cities across the world. With advantages in internet security, internet traffic management, and edge computing services, it has become a key infrastructure and internet security guarantee service provider for major national conferences and events.

Guiyang Free Trade Zone's Guizong Cross-border Data Service Technology Co highlighted its innovations in cross-border data services, and enhancing the competitiveness, innovation, and global influence of enterprises involved in foreign trade.

In recent years, Guiyang and Gui'an have taken the lead in developing intelligent computing, large industry-specific model development and data training, achieving significant results in the digital economy. Their diverse approaches to the development of the digital economy and vital role in driving industrial upgrades and economic transformation were highlighted at the expo.
