Guizhou charter flight for spring tea debuts in Guiyang

The first spring tea charter flight in the history of Guizhou's civil aviation departed from Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on March 29, and destined for Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province.

Operated by Boeing 757, the charter flight transported 23.8 metric tons of spring tea.

In order to serve Guizhou's economic development, support rural vitalization, and facilitate freight transportation in Guizhou, Guizhou Civil Aviation Industry Group Co has allocated resources and coordinated with Guizhou SF Express Co to upgrade the transportation means of Guizhou spring tea.

Guizhou Civil Aviation Industry Group Co has optimized processes for spring tea transportation including packaging, transportation, handling, stacking, warehousing, security checks, and loading, so as to improve efficiency, reduce circulation links, lower external logistics costs, and promote rapid product delivery to customers.

During the spring tea season, Guizhou Civil Aviation Industry Group Co will work with Guizhou SF Express Co to increase its air transportation capacity by more than 20 flights.

At the same time, they will maximize the use of passenger aircraft bellyhold space to fully guarantee the transportation of spring tea. Plans are for over 1,000 tons of spring tea to be transported nationwide via air.
