Throughout the year, the airport opened 198 domestic routes and six international routes.

In the 2023 summer and autumn flight season, the airport operated 152 routes, reaching 95 cities. Routes to Hong Kong and Macao were restored, and an international route to Don Mueang in Thailand was opened.

The airport operated 156 routes in the 2023 winter and spring flight season, reaching 112 destinations. International routes to Nha Trang in Vietnam, Osaka in Japan, Phuket Island in Thailand, and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia were opened.

Additionally, the airport opened its Guiyang-Calcutta international freight route and its second Guiyang-Ezhou domestic all-cargo flight route.

Efforts have also been made to improve airport operation efficiency. The cut-off time for checking in for domestic flights was reduced from 45 minutes to 40 minutes, and that for premium flights was shortened to 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, last year, the average passenger handling at the airport security check-in channel increased to 150 per hour during peak hours, up 20 percent.
