Guiyang Big Data Sci-tech Innovation City promotes investment at CIFTIS

During the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) in Beijing, Zhang Yu, director of the management committee of Guiyang Big Data Sci-tech Innovation City in Southwest China's Guizhou province, introduced the city's investment attraction policies and key projects of Guiyang Big Data and Sci-Tech City, and invited entrepreneurs to invest and start businesses in Guizhou on Sept 3.

Established in December 2021 with the approval of the provincial government, Guiyang Big Data Sci-tech Innovation City is located in the core area of Guian New Area, covering a total planned area of 54.8 square kilometers.

It is the central area for the integrated development of Guiyang City and Guian New Area and a core area for Guiyang's "Strengthening the Provincial Capital" campaign.

During the event, Zhang highlighted two policies: the "opinions on accelerating the high-quality development of Guian New Area" and the "supporting policies for the Guiyang Big Data Sci-Tech Innovation City".

The opinions on accelerating the high-quality development of Guian New Area include accelerating industrial focus, promoting the concentration of talent and population, speeding up the construction of provincial sci-tech innovation centers, optimizing the allocation of high-quality education and medical resources, improving the transportation network, strengthening land supply, enhancing power and energy supply, and increasing financial support for Guian.

The supporting policies for the Guiyang Big Data Sci-Tech Innovation City include subsidies for personal housing rentals and purchases, rental subsidies for office spaces, financial contribution rewards, investment attraction rewards, support for information infrastructure services, support for expanding application, and more.
