Guizhou, Hong Kong hold friendly soccer match

A friendly soccer match between the Hong Kong All Stars Sports Association (ASSA) and Colorful Guizhou Soccer League was held at the Guiyang Olympic Center in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Aug 12.

Tens of thousands of fans came to cheer on the two teams, which tied with a score of 3:3. The ASSA was established in 1986 and is composed of many Hong Kong stars, such as Tam Wing Lun, Tsang Chi Wai, Chan Pak Cheung and Wong Yat Wa. The association has held competitions all over the world for many years.

ASSA members, such as Wong Yat Wa, Law Kar Ying and Li Yu Yeung, delighted the audience with performances of popular songs during the match.

 "I came here specifically to get a close look at my favorite celebrities on the team, and I'm so excited," said enthusiastic fan Qin Wei.

Wu Tao, president of the Guizhou Sports Federation, said that the match is an opportunity to promote cooperation between Guizhou and Hong Kong.

Guizhou is currently focusing on creating brands for sporting events and encouraging all regions to organize high-quality sporting events. With the support of all parties involved, Guizhou's sporting events have reeled in many fans this summer.
