The Guiyang Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and the China southern border trade committee of the Thai Chamber of Commerce recently signed a cooperation framework agreement in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The two parties reached a friendly cooperation consensus on economic and trade exchanges, people-to-people diplomacy, cultural exchanges, investment promotion, and tourism promotion, aiming to strengthen their friendship and communications and connect the relevant chambers of commerce in Thailand with Guiyang and Guian.

According to a representative of the Guiyang Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, China and Thailand are geographically close, have deep cultural connections, and share a long history of friendship.

Guiyang and Guian hope that the visiting delegation from Thailand will take this opportunity to engage in exchanges and cooperation with Guiyang and Guian in the fields of economics and trade, tourism development, education and training, cultural exchange, and the development of sister-city ties.

Phitayason Dejprasit, chairman's advisor of the China southern border trade committee of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, said that every time he visits Guiyang, the experience is different.

He hopes that through this visit and the signing of the cooperation framework agreement, both sides can further enhance cooperation and exchange in the fields of tourism, education, economy, trade, and culture.

The Thai Chamber of Commerce will work to strengthen cooperation between the two sides, create more opportunities for cooperation, and bring benefits to the people of both places.
