A cultural tourism promotional event was organized by Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, in Nanchang, the provincial capital of Jiangxi, on June 27, aiming to publicize Guiyang's summer vacation cultural tourism products and boost the development of its tourism sector.
About 200 officials and representatives from the two city's culture and tourism, commerce and sports bureaus attended, along with cultural tourism and cultural products enterprises.
During the event, China (Guiyang) Travel Agency introduced the city's tourism resources, detailed its Yangming cultural boutique study tour route that runs via Yangming Cultural Park, Tiansheng Bridge and Liuguanghe Grand Canyon, and invited Nanchang citizens to Guiyang.
The agency highlighted Guiyang as an excellent destination for tourists to enjoy a cool and comfortable climate in the hot summer months, as well as its beautiful landscapes and unique culture.
In addition, the two parties exchanged views on how to create tourism products adapted to today's market based on historic buildings such as Guiyang Jiaxiu Pavilion and Nanchang Tengwang Pavilion, two landmarks in their respective cities cherished for their historical significance.

The two sides subsequently signed a framework agreement on the protection of cultural relics to learn from each other in terms of preserving famous buildings and developing tourism, promoting cultural exchanges, and jointly promoting the integration of culture and tourism with high-quality development.
The event presented a cultural tourism promotional video, interactive lottery and cultural performances with local characteristics, allowing Nanchang citizens to further understand the unique urban charm of "Cool Guiyang".
