A freight train carrying 55 standard containers departed from Dulaying Railway Station in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on March 30, heading to Russia's Elektrougli. It is the 16th China-Europe Railway Express train to leave Guizhou this year.

Since the beginning of this year, China-Europe Railway Express in Guizhou has transported 12,681 metric tons of goods in 880 standard containers, which is an increase of 148 percent year-on-year.

As a key channel for Guizhou's opening-up and international trade, China-Europe Railway Express has become the first choice for international transportation for many companies, due to its secure, stable and convenient operation.

To meet the increasing need for trains by China-Europe Railway Express, Guiyang South Railway Station has been cooperating with Guizhou Railway Investment Group Co, multimodal transport departments and customs offices to improve its transportation efficiency and quality.

The Guizhou trains that are a part of China-Europe Railway Express started operation in November of 2021. With the railway routes increasing, the variety of products being transported is also increasing, such as household appliances, clothing, automotive parts and guitars.

By using China-Europe Railway Express, enterprises can save 10 days of transportation when compared with sea transportation. This is what has attracted many new clients. Guiyang South Railway Station will make every effort to plan routes and ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods.
