Data Scenario Application Innovation Contest to open for registration

According to the executive committee of the China International Big Data Industry Expo 2023 (Big Data Expo 2023), the Data Scenario Application Innovation Contest will open for registration in mid-March.

As a high-end and professional contest and major part of the expo, this year's Data Scenario Application Innovation Contest will include six competition topics:

Topic 1 (electronic information manufacturing industry): digital solutions for quality management in discrete industry (electronic information), with a planned investment of 20 million yuan ($2.89 million).

Topic 2 (aluminum and aluminum processing industry): digital quality inspection system solutions for aluminum alloy industrial profile sections (non-standard products), with a planned investment of 5 million yuan.

Topic 3 (phosphorus chemical industry): demonstration and promotion of integrated application of intelligent security based on industrial internet platforms, with a planned investment of 12 million yuan.

Topic 4 (Maotai-flavor liquor industry): solutions to industrial internet identity resolution for Maotai-flavor liquor enterprises, with a planned investment of 20 million yuan;

Topic 5 (coal industry): research on the implementation of intelligent coal mines based on the industrial internet, with a planned investment of 8 million yuan;

Topic 6 (Biomedical industry): industrial internet control solutions for batch production of traditional Chinese medicine formula granules, with a planned investment of 2 million yuan.

The registration will end on April 28, and the preliminary contest will be held in early May. The executive committee will organize for experts, representatives of financial institutions, and company representatives to select 24 entries (four for each topic).

The finals will be held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on May 25. The winning teams will receive bonuses and enjoy supporting policies in talent introduction, project implementation, and investment.

All government-sponsored institutions, colleges, universities, scientific research institutions, and companies can sign up for the competition. Each participating team should have no more than five people and register at the official website of the Big Data Expo 2023.
