A group of 21 tourists from Singapore arrived at Guiyang North Railway Station on Feb 27 and began their five-day trip. This is the first international tourist group to visit Southwest China's Guizhou province in 2023.
During their stay in Guizhou, the tour group will visit famous scenic spots in Guiyang city, Zunyi city, Anshun city and Qiandongnan Miao and Dong autonomous prefectures.
One of the tourists said that he looks forward to Guizhou's baijiu and beautiful scenery. Li Liangyi, president of Singaporean travel agency China Express Travel, has visited Guizhou more than 30 times, and is impressed by Guizhou's natural scenery, ethnic culture and comfortable weather.
According to Li, there are not only tourism experts in this tour group, but also potential investors who are here to investigate Guizhou's investment environment. He hopes that Guizhou's tourism industry will continue to rise, and he wishes to introduce more Singaporean tourists to Guizhou in the future.
To ensure optimal leisure and fun, Guizhou Straits Sunshine Travel Service Co has planned the travel schedule for the group according to Guizhou's natural scenery, local customs, baijiu culture, and historic sites related to the Long March. All of which will showcase Guizhou's beauty.
Bao Lu, general manager of Guizhou Straits Sunshine Travel Service Co, said that four tour groups from Singapore have already booked trips for March, and more tourists from Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Macao will visit Guizhou starting in April.
