The competition has been held every spring and autumn since 2015 to showcase the quality of Guizhou's teas and expand the tea market.
A total of 146 tea samples from 118 companies reach the finals of this year's competition.
At the finals, the shape, smell, taste and color of the tea were taken into consideration, and four gold prizes, eight silver prizes, nine bronze prizes and 16 excellent prizes were awarded.
During past tea competitions, a total of 27 gold prizes were given to 21 counties out of Guizhou's 43 major tea producing counties.
