The exhibition area for Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is ready to open to the public at the third China International Import Expo (CIIE), which will be held in East China's Shanghai municipality on Nov 5-10.
Guiyang's exhibition area is located on the third floor of the National Exhibition and Convention Center's B area in Shanghai. The 300-square-meter area will exhibit 185 products from 18 Guizhou-based companies, including chilies, cultural and creative items, tea and rasa roxburghii.
Guiyang's exhibition area will also feature promotional videos, ethnic products, a business area for negotiations between purchasers and companies and a livestreaming zone to sell goods through the internet.
It is the first time that Guiyang is using the internet to promote its products at CIIE. From Nov 6 to 8, Guiyang will organize four livestreaming sessions on Taobao, TikTok and YouTube to introduce its featured products to the world.
Government officials, livestreaming hosts and foreign guests will be invited to participate in the livestreaming event to promote Guiyang's agricultural products, tourism resources and ethnic culture.
