Guiyang agriculture park helps alleviate poverty

Guiyang Agricultural Products Logistics Park in Xiuwen county, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, dispatches seasonal vegetables to Guiyang's markets every day.

Since opening in March 2019, the park's 220,000-square-meter poverty alleviation product area has exclusively sold agricultural products from Guizhou's poverty alleviation bases.

So far, 88 cities, districts and counties have signed over 100 poverty alleviation bases and cooperatives to sell agricultural products through the logistics park. These agricultural producers manage over 200,000 mu (13,333.33 hectares) of planting areas and have helped 250,000 people increase their incomes, including over 10,000 impoverished people.
