At the four-day event, Nansha appeared alongside Conghua and Huadu in Guangzhou's exhibition area, where it held a special promotion session for nearly 40 Macao tourism enterprises and travel agencies.
Through the event, Nansha sought to raise its profile not only as a tourism destination but also as a platform for wider cultural and business exchanges in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Officials said Nansha's appeal to Macao partners lies in both policy support and tourism diversity.
Eligible cultural and tourism businesses in key start-up zones can enjoy a corporate income tax rate reduced by 15 percent, while Macao residents working in Nansha can benefit from tax relief and related support measures.
Beyond the policy incentives, Nansha offers a broad mix of tourism resources, including coastal scenery, wetlands, rural landscapes and historic water-town attractions. Its growing lineup of concerts, sports events and seasonal light shows has also helped convert visitor flows into consumer spending.
Nansha also displayed cultural and creative products at the expo, including Xiangyunsha Silk, which attracted much attention from Macao tourism industry representatives.
