On Dec 10, the four-day 2024 conference of the Chinese Mazu Cultural Exchange Association concluded in Nansha district, Guangzhou.

Representatives experienced the three offerings to Mazu at the Nansha Tianhou Palace, visited local cultural sites, and gained a deeper understanding of the history and culture of Nansha.

In the afternoon, the Executive Council of the Chinese Mazu Cultural Exchange Association and the ninth member meeting of the third session were held at the Nansha Bay Coastal Conference Center. The meeting summarized the significant achievements made by the association in promoting Mazu cultural exchange, disseminating Mazu culture, and protecting Mazu intangible cultural heritage.

The Guangzhou Nansha Cultural and Business Tourism Promotion Conference was also hosted, showcasing the rich tourism offerings, cultural heritage, and development potential of Nansha to the attending representatives.

Through detailed introductions of cultural and tourism investment opportunities such as Nansha cultural tourism promotion, the Greater Bay Area Lantern Festival, Nansha souvenirs, and international cruise projects, the promotion conference vividly presented the unique charm of Nansha as the "heart of the Greater Bay Area".

The hosting of this year's conference not only further promotes the spirit of Mazu and spreads Mazu culture but also strengthens the exchange and cooperation between Mazu cultural institutions and believers at home and abroad.
