On Oct 23, the 2024 Greater Bay Area Artificial Intelligence (AI) Industry Conference was held at the Nansha International Financial Forum Convention Center.
The event featured interactive digital humans replacing human customer service, precision-grabbing of dolls by intelligent robotic arms, and bipedal robots hiking in the wilderness, capturing the attention of attendees. The conference attracted over 1,000 industry professionals from domestic and international backgrounds to discuss the latest developments and future trends in artificial intelligence.

During the event, the establishment of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao (Nansha) AI Industry Empowerment and Innovation Center was announced. This center aims to provide training, research, exhibitions, investment opportunities, and consultation services to support Nansha in becoming a hub for the AI industry.
Additionally, over 30 companies showcased "black technology" in the exhibition area, presenting innovative achievements in smart manufacturing, smart cities, and intelligent transportation.
AI technologies demonstrated at the event included digital human applications, AI-generated portraits, AI actors, AI singers, and AI dancers, drawing the interest of participants. The digital human live streaming platform achieved uninterrupted broadcasting for 24 hours, while AI motion capture technology showcased the precise capturing of human movements and expressions, displaying cutting-edge innovations and application scenarios in the industry.
The development of AI in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has injected innovative vitality into Guangdong province, fostering industrial growth.
