Wanqingsha town: Vibrant hub in southern Guangdong

Wanqingsha town – located in Nansha district of South China's Guangdong province – is renowned for being one of the top 500 towns in the country and also for being a particularly charming town in the local Lingnan region.

With a history dating back to the land reclamation in 1838, Wanqingsha has evolved into a modern town covering an area of 142.85 square kilometers.

As a major industrial hub in Nansha, it has seized development opportunities, transforming and upgrading traditional industries and attracting a slew of top enterprises such as JFE Steel and Pacific Textile.

In the future, Wanqingsha town aims to become a bridge connecting Guangzhou and Shenzhen – dedicated to establishing itself as a pivotal hub for the coordinated development of the two cities, facilitating Nansha's integration into the Greater Bay Area.

Wanqingsha boasts a beautiful ecosystem and environment and is recognized as the most eco-friendly and greenest area in Nansha. It is home to the largest area of mangrove forests in the area, attracting numerous migratory birds.

Moreover, the town offers a variety of seafood such as yellow croakers and anchovies, along with special techniques in making Danjia cuisine, which has been listed in the Guangzhou municipal intangible cultural heritage representative project directory. Its culinary culture emphasizes the use of seasonal ingredients, showcasing authentic and delicious flavors.

With its diverse development, picturesque environment and rich culture, it attracts numerous tourists and investors – demonstrating vitality and great potential.
