In Nansha district, autonomous driving unicorn company Pony.ai recently announced a collaboration with mobility technology company Amap to integrate Pony.ai's autonomous vehicles into Amap's integrated mobility platform.
Users will be able to experience unmanned driving through the "Amap" app and related mini-programs in Guangzhou. Since launching autonomous driving services in 2018, Pony.ai has been committed to large-scale autonomous operations, boasting rich product development experience and underlying platform support.

As an expert in the transportation and mobility technology field, Amap provides quality travel information matchmaking services through an aggregation model, driving industry development.
Amap will first integrate Pony.ai's fleet in the Nansha Intelligent Connected Vehicle Pilot Zone, allowing users to access the service through the Amap application, with both parties pledging to continuously optimize the user experience.
Pony.ai's autonomous vehicles are already operational in several cities in China and comply with relevant safety standards.
On Oct 11, GAC Group announced that its board of directors approved a $27-million investment in Pony.ai from its wholly-owned subsidiary GAC Capital.
Pony.ai has completed nine rounds of financing with support from renowned investment institutions and companies. The company plans to list on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange or the New York Stock Exchange to showcase its development and prospects in the field of autonomous driving.
