On Sept 9, as part of the 2024 China Cybersecurity Week, the main forum of the Cybersecurity Technology Summit and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Cybersecurity Conference were held at the International Finance Forum Conference Center in Nansha district.

The event marked the launch of the Nansha (Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao) Data Service Pilot Zone, with key government officials, experts, and industry leaders in attendance.

The Nansha Data Service Pilot Zone aims to facilitate cross-border data flow, align regulations within the Greater Bay Area, and foster an international data service industry cluster. The initial phase will focus on the Nansha Free Trade Zone, gradually expanding to the entire Nansha.

Nansha's strategic location in the Greater Bay Area and its robust transportation network, thriving high-tech ecosystem, and solid industrial foundation position it as an ideal hub for data services. Companies like 360 Digital Security Group and AVIC Cloud Telecom are committed to supporting the pilot zone with their digital security and computing power expertise.

Key initiatives include strengthening data infrastructure, innovating data governance mechanisms, and building a comprehensive data service support system. The goal is to make Nansha a leading region for data service industry development, digital innovation, and international cooperation.
