As the new academic year approaches, two schools in Nansha district, Guangzhou, have completed significant expansion projects to enhance their educational environments.
The projects of Guangzhou Nansha Harbour Primary School and the Affiliated School of Guangzhou Foreign Language School are set to provide students with improved facilities and learning spaces.
On Aug 30, the completion and handover ceremony for the Guangzhou Nansha Harbour Primary School expansion project was held. This project, located on the northern plot of the existing school site, adds 12 new teaching classes.
The expansion includes a comprehensive teaching building, a gymnasium, a multifunctional power room, an underground civil defense garage, and outdoor activity areas. The main teaching building features four floors, with some areas extending to five floors, and includes standard classrooms, science labs, computer rooms, art and music rooms, and a library.

The second phase of the Affiliated School of Guangzhou Foreign Language School expansion project has also been completed. This project includes a comprehensive teaching building for the middle school section, a multifunctional hall, dormitories, a cafeteria, and supporting infrastructure such as roads, plazas, and landscaping.
The architectural design continues the school's existing style, incorporating brick arches, arcades, and sloped roofs to create a high-quality foreign language teaching environment.
