The first phase of the school project began in September 2022, featuring 36 classrooms designed to accommodate 1,620 students. The facilities include teaching buildings, student activity centers, administrative offices, dormitories, and a sports arena.
To accommodate a larger student body, construction for the expansion project began in November 2023, incorporating high school and kindergarten classrooms with supporting facilities, a multipurpose hall, and more.
The project enhances employment opportunities and educational services for residents of Hong Kong and Macao while promoting comprehensive collaboration among Guangzhou, Nansha, and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The design includes walkways connecting the two school zones and leverages the climatic characteristics of the Lingnan region. It also features multi-level shared gardens and elevated spaces, creating pleasant environments for teachers and students.
The architectural form reflects regional characteristics and is expected to set a standard for innovative educational building design in the Greater Bay Area.
