Explore highlights of 3rd IC NANSHA conference

The 3rd IC NANSHA Conference was held in Nansha, Guangzhou from June 22 to 23.

This marked the third consecutive year that Nansha hosted this high-level forum focused on the semiconductor industry. Nansha has established a robust ecosystem for its third-generation semiconductor industry and is targeting a production value exceeding 50 billion yuan ($6.89 billion) by 2027, aiming to bolster key sectors and create a hub for integrated circuit industries to support the development of Guangdong's semiconductor industry.

In Nansha's Wanqingsha town, a 2-square-kilometer third-generation compound semiconductor industrial park has been completed, attracting numerous chip companies and forming what is known as Nansha's Chip Street.

The 3rd IC NANSHA Conference showcased emerging forces in the chip industry, displaying innovative achievements in design, manufacturing, testing, and applications.

Yixing Intelligence, an AI computing chip company located in Nansha, has shown steady and rapid growth, helping shape Nansha's chip industrial chain, which covers areas such as design, materials, equipment, and manufacturing.

Nansha has established distinctive industrial parks including Wanqingsha, Digital Valley, and Mingzhu Science Park, providing development space and support for the chip industry. The district also offers smooth financing channels, with several specialized funds set up to support enterprises.

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) serves as a new Chip Space, aiming to cultivate more high-end chip talent and inject new impetus into the development of Nansha's chip industry.
