Austrian immunologist shared his life in Guangzhou Nansha

In Guangzhou Nansha, located in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Austrian immunologist Dr Mathias Hochgerner is not only a scientist at the Greater Bay Area Institute of Precision Medicine (Guangzhou), but also a chef who brings a sense of ritual with his "Monday Cake" tradition for colleagues. In his personal life, he has made friends from around the world who share his passion for cooking.

"Why Nansha?" Mattias shared during an interview with reporters, "I was looking for opportunities in many cities, but this place offered me the best job, so I chose to come here. Compared to Austria, China gives me the feeling that everything is bigger and faster. The pace of life in Guangzhou Nansha suits me well, and the green urban environment is more comfortable."
