Jinji Claypot Rice, a restaurant located on Yuhe Street in Nansha district, has been doing business for 30 years and has always adhered to the traditional method of cooking with an open fire and clay pots.

There is no fixed menu, and customers can choose four to five ingredients from 13 options to mix and match. In addition to common ingredients like preserved meats, chicken, mandarin fish, and beef, there are also less common options such as spicy peppers, dried fish, and meat rolls.

Furthermore, customers can add their favorite condiments to the self-selected ingredients, such as pickled vegetables, spicy radishes, and pickled green beans. Of course, if you have difficulty choosing, don't worry, the restaurant will provide recommendations for popular ingredients.

When the claypot rice is served with the lid removed, the aroma of rice and meat fills the air, and you can even hear the sizzling sound! Underneath the vegetables, tender meat is hidden, and combining it with the special soy sauce makes the rice even more flavorful.

If the claypot rice contains salty ingredients like preserved meats or cabbage, you can taste the saltiness before deciding whether to add soy sauce.
