Nansha collaborates with HK, Macao in talent recruitment

The 2023 Hong Kong International Talents Summit was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on Oct 9.

The summit consisted of three thematic sections, with the third one hosted by Guangzhou's Nansha district. This section included keynote speeches, policy announcements, and roundtable discussions.

It focused on building a collaborative mechanism for talents in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and creating a demonstration zone for high-quality talent development.

During the summit, Nansha also highlighted its nine measures for a special international talent zone, which aims to attract talented individuals from around the world. These nine major actions include implementing a top-notch talent initiative, increasing the number of high-end talents, and supporting young talent development.

In addition, the summit released a talent recruitment list that includes 162 high-end positions from 62 organizations in Hong Kong, Macao, and Guangzhou's Nansha district, with a total demand for 548 high-end talents, including doctoral graduates and postdoctoral researchers.

Of note, Nansha alone plans to recruit 290 individuals for 111 positions, thereby promoting joint talent recruitment efforts with Hong Kong, Macao, and the global community.
