HK school of medicine to settle in Nansha

More than 40 people from the School of Medicine of Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) went to Nansha for a field visit and signed a framework cooperation agreement with Nansha government on April 12.

The two sides will jointly build a high-end medical talent training and scientific research and innovation platform in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to promote the coordinated development of medical and health services in the two places.

This visit set up a new channel for Nansha to introduce a Hong Kong-style medical service system and outstanding medical talents, as well as to promote in-depth medical cooperation between Guangzhou and Hong Kong.

Since the State Council issued the Nansha Plan in June 2022, an overall plan for Nansha to deepen comprehensive cooperation among Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, Nansha has been continuously expanding the cooperation platform and has achieved significant results in the medical and health fields.
