A few days ago, the first pile was poured for the road-rail bridge over the Hongqili waterway, marking the bridge's entry into the pile foundation construction stage. The bridge is part of the Shenzhen-Jiangmen Railway.

The new Shenzhen-Jiangmen Railway main line is about 116 kilometers long. The road-rail bridge over the Hongqili waterway is 1.41 km in length, with a main span of 808 meters. The upper level of the Hongqili Bridge is an eight-lane urban expressway and the lower level is a four-lane high-speed railway.

After the completion of the railway, the travel time between Qianhai, Shenzhen and Nansha, Guangzhou will be reduced to half an hour by high-speed train, while the travel time between Shenzhen and Jiangmen will be reduced to less than one hour.
