Article 8 A Hong Kong or Macao professional who applies for professional titles at various levels in the field of transport works in Nansha district shall also meet the relevant provisions of the Standard Conditions for Evaluation of the Professional Titles of Technical Talent for Transport Works in Nansha District, Guangzhou Municipality (see Appendix 2 for details).

Chapter III Evaluation System

Article 9 There are no requirements for Hong Kong and Macao applicants in relation to foreign language, computer application capabilities, or continuing education.

Article 10 For Hong Kong and Macao applicants, their experience in professional and technical work during their overseas employment will be deemed as valids work experience, and their achievements and published papers and works may serve as valids performance and academic results.

Article 11 For Hong Kong and Macao professionals, special technical analysis (argumentation) reports, research reports, teaching courses and professional academic reports they have submitted may serve as academic achievements they have made and the academic value thereof will be judged by the experts of the Evaluation Committee in a just, fair and complete manner.

Article 12 Hong Kong and Macao professionals who apply for professional title evaluation for the first time after they receive a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree may directly apply for a deputy senior professional title if they have engaged in the professional and technical work of their specialty for two years, seven years or 10 years respectively and meet the standard conditions for professional title evaluation; or directly apply for a senior professional title if they have engaged in the professional and technical work of their specialty for seven years, 12 years or 15 years respectively and meet the standard conditions for professional title evaluation.

Article 13 Hong Kong and Macao professionals who have already acquired a certain practicing qualification in Hong Kong or Macao may apply for a professional title according to the Conditions for Direct Application for the Evaluation of Professional Titles (Applicable to the Engineering Professionals of Hong Kong and Macao) (see Appendix 3 for details) and provide the performance result materials that are sufficient to show their own capabilities for professional and technical work as well as academic level.
