evaluation of the Hong Kong and Macao professionals in Nansha district; industrial authorities for the construction and transport of Nansha district are responsible, within the scope of their official duties, for the management, organization and implementation of the professional title evaluation of Hong Kong and Macao professionals in construction and transport. The other related functional units of the Nansha district people's government shall cooperate with the implementation thereof.
Article 4 The industrial authorities for construction and transport of Nansha district shall establish the Nansha District Professional Title Evaluation Committee for Construction and Transport Works ("Evaluation Committee") and the Office of the Evaluation Committee, which will undertake the specific tasks, e.g. examination, publication, acceptance of reports and verification, related to the evaluation of professional titles for the professionals of construction and transport works in Nansha district, including those from Hong Kong and Macao, and accept the guidance, management, and supervision by industrial authorities for construction and transport and the administrative department for human resources and social security of Nansha district.
Article 5 The professional scope for professional title evaluation in construction and transport involved herein shall be consistent with that of the Evaluation Committee that is approved and filed by the department.
Chapter II Application Requirements
Article 6 A Hong Kong or Macao professional who applies for professional title evaluation in construction or transport in Nansha district shall meet all the following conditions:
1. Having the educational background of secondary vocational school, junior college or higher, or holding the degree of associate bachelor or above;
2. Engaging in technical work related to construction or transport in Nansha district, e.g. scientific research, planning, survey (including measurement), design, consulting, cost of building, construction, management, supervision, inspection, testing, maintenance, production, and safety;
3. Holding the permanent resident identity of Hong Kong or Macao.
Article 7 A Hong Kong or Macao professional who applies for professional titles for various levels in construction works in Nansha district shall also meet the relevant provisions of the Standard Conditions for Evaluation of the Professional Titles of Technical Talent for Construction Works in Nansha District, Guangzhou Municipality (see Appendix 1 for details).
