Nansha teams up with Shenzhen airport for import and export business

A new mechanism has been set up to coordinate the import and export business between Guangzhou's Nansha district and Shenzhen Baoan International Airport, local media outlets reported on May 25.

It makes Shenzhen Baoan the latest airport in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to become part of the Greater Bay Area's shared international aviation cargo center, after the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport aviation center was put into operation in the Nansha Area of the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone.

It is expected that the functions of the shared international aviation cargo center will be further optimized, and the construction of a coordinated transport cooperation platform among all major airports in the Greater Bay Area, centering on Nansha, will be moved forward.

The coordinated operations between Nansha and Shenzhen Baoan International Airport will provide convenient one-stop clearance services for Nansha's cross-border e-commerce cargo, as the cargo agents can finish clearance processes in Nansha and put their cargo onboard without further customs inspections.
