The entrepreneur center for Hong Kong and Macao youths in Guangzhou's Nansha district is currently home to 153 entrepreneurship groups, of which 103 of them are from Hong Kong and Macao.
The center was set up in 2018 to provide green channels and one-stop services for Hong Kong and Macao youths entrepreneurs who start businesses in Nansha, covering various areas like medicine, education, as well as living and commercial insurance.
The center, which is divided into three individual spaces, has been designed as the Hong Kong Youth Co-working Space, the Macao Youth Co-working Space, as well as the space for groups involved in e-commerce. Each space boasts over 5,000 square meters for office rooms.
"I think Nansha has always been on the road for rapid development and I've seen more discounts offered by the local government in preferential policies for Hong Kong and Macao youths," said Huen Wai-chung, who has set up a logistic company in the center.
"During my stay in Nansha, I have participated in various kinds of public welfare activities and got a deeper understanding of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as well as Nansha district," added Huen.
