Attracting skilled workers is always a key aim of the district. It rolled out a series of preferential policies in housing, allowance and residency.
In the past five years, the district has been ramping up incentives for badly-needed talent and core workers. It gave out bonuses of 45.21 million yuan ($6.45 million) to 1,284 qualified applicants in 2015, and the figures increased to 357.47 million and 7,256 in 2019.
