The construction corporation plans to invest 3 billion yuan ($422.17 million) in the project which will play a role in local investment, finance, funds management, facilities and villages renovation, as well as industrial park construction.
“We two sides have a long history of friendship and I wish this assignment to be a new start of our cooperation,” said Cai Chaolin, Party secretary of the district.
“The district has exciting efficiency and speed. It only took two months to move the cooperation intention to an official assignment. The international investment headquarters will become increasingly important as our overseas business expands.
“The reason why we choose Nansha mainly lies in its efficiency and financial policies,” said Li Ning, deputy president of the Chinese construction giant.
CRCC, established in Beijing on Nov 5 of 2007, is a super construction enterprise managed by the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration of the State Council and one of the largest and most powerful comprehensive construction groups in China and the world.
It ranks 58th on the Fortune Global 500 list and 3rd on the ENR “Top 250 International Contractors” list, and has over 1,100 projects in 124 countries and regions.
