Li Jie, one of the municipal backbone teachers in Guangzhou, has been a senior high school teacher of physics for over 20 consecutive years, and has cultivated leagues of outstanding graduates.
She devoted her efforts and love to helping the students who have difficulties in studying. A student named Xiaohonghad been easily distracted by domestic affairs for a long time.
Noticing this, Li gave Xiaohong a hand by analyzing her strengths and weakness. Xiaohong gradually understood how to learn effectively and finally got enrolled in her dream school.
Li is always concerned about her students even when she falls ill. She was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2008 when her students were preparing for the College Entrance Examination. Although afflicted bythe disease, she continued to concentrate on her students’ progress.
