Guangzhou' s Nansha international cruise ship homeport is counting down to its public debut at the end of August and its maiden voyage set for November.
The terminal is divided into three parts: a departure lounge, a waiting hall and a boarding corridor, and has four main entrances.

The departure lounge, covering 2,848 square meters, is lined with 48 service windows to meet tourists' ticketing and luggage checking needs.
Once ticketed and having checked their luggage, passengers can take a lift to the waiting hall on the second floor. This hall is made of a special kind of building material called GRG, which is capable of automatic temperature adjustment.
The boarding corridor, 350 meters long and 8 meters wide, is decorated with glass on both sides.
Notably, the windows outside the corridor all have a moveable design, as the specific position of the anchorage changes with the water level.

There is also a transport yard outside the arrival lounge, which can accommodate 24 buses, 36 coaches and some taxis. An underground passage leading to Subway Line 4 will soon be in use.
The maiden voyage of the home-port terminal will be made on Nov 17 by Costa neoRomantica, a 5.7 displacement tons passenger liner from international cruise giant Costa.
This trip, lasting for five or six days, is estimated to offer 789 rooms for about 1,800 passengers who plan to visit Japan and Vietnam.
