The warehouse, covering an area of 10,000 square meters in the first phase, will provide power for the world food giant to extend its business in China.
The Nansha free trade zone will now be directly accessible for products from its overseas factories, cutting down logistics and storage costs.
Notably, it took only five months to complete the entire process of this project.

“Danone is grateful to Guangzhou customs, Nansha customs and governments at all levels for their strong support, and we will continue to bring more and better products to Chinese consumers,” said a project leader from the company.
The food company has spread to more than 130 markets around the world in fields such as special nutrition, basic dairy products, drinking water, and beverages.
In recent years, the district optimized its integrative supply chain management services through a series of supervision innovations, catering to enterprises’ import and export businesses by different trade modes.
Many a high-quality e-commerce corporation like Tmall, Jingdong mall and Vipshophave selected Nansha as their warehouse sites.
From January to July, 95,000 square meters of warehouse volume was added to the local free trade zone, according to data from Nansha customs.
