Guangzhou' s Nansha district recently issued 77 measures to improve its local business environment.
In the future, the district will construct an institutional system meeting the high standards of international investment and trade and a social management mode linking up the district with Hong Kong and Macao.
In the meantime, until the end of this year there will stand a comprehensive property register and trade service hall, making one-hour certificate handling available.
“We just go downstairs and then figure out everything about taxes,” said Zhang Qun, general manager of Qunjin Cross-Border E- Commerce Co, a Hong Kong enterprise located in Nansha.
Trademarks and copyrights have drawn more attention as well. From January to April, the whole district registered a total of 2,003 patents, a 95.8 percent increase year on year.
Nansha was the first area to bring 5G technology to its government affairs center, shortening the process of uploading and handling electronic material. Nansha residents can also realize identity authentication by using the face scanning function.
A legal service cluster project is now underway, to offer 8,000 square meters ofoffice area. This measure will help to strengthen the brand affect in a legalized business environment.
In addition, Nansha will lower the cost of logistics by building Global Distribution Co, led by Top Ideal, into a comprehensive foreign trade service company, with joint participation by a series of enterprises.
From Jan to May this year, clearance of imported products took only 37.48 hours, a reduction of 18.17 percent compared to December 2018, according to Nansha customs.
